Sanna Jokinen is a 43-year-old woman with ALS from Joensuu. She has started about a year ago through the art of telling and highlighting the disease. The exhibition features various art photographs and paintings painted with feet. The subject of Sanna's art is illness, life, femininity and being a role model for others who are in the same situation.
This disease is so brutal that he wants to bring it out and show that there is life even if you are seriously ill. Sanna has planned the exhibition and its photographs. She has created the paintings while painting with his feet. The photos were taken and realized by photographers Rosa Bianca and Janne Kuivalainen.

KIRSIKOTI "Bear wrestling and other miracles"

Kirsikoti is an artist community in Lieksa.
Kirsikoti ry was founded in 1992 to support and develop activities in Kirsikoti, where people with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to develop themselves as equal members of society through different means of culture in the housing, hobby and work community. With the help of culture, people with developmental disabilities get to know life, grow, develop and express themselves.
Daytime activities with an emphasis on art and culture are organized in the Kirsikodin Atelier Hännätön kissa and Kirsikoti's Taikkari in the center of Lieksa.
Works from both Kirsikoti and Taikkari artists have been selected for the exhibition.
The exhibition Bear wrestling and other miracles offers reasons for wonder, joy and happiness at home, in Finland and around the world. The exhibition is focused on nature because we live in a beautiful environment whose animals and landscapes inspire artists all year round.
