Pirjo Vartiainen's exhibition consists of descriptions of emotional experiences through a horsma that blooms and withers beautifully for a short time. Her goal has been to find and describe the emotions and emotional phenomena arising from life, with horsma in the center of the description. Close to nature, life's moments are intertwined with nature. Beautiful colors and the beauty of life, light and shadows, joy, happiness and sadness, the fragility of life and the dark tones vary from moment to moment in life. Nature and the importance of its little things come to the fore in difficult times in people's lives. The natural environment with its colors and its small details act as stress relievers, bringers of comfort and joy, and empowering factors.

The paintings in Pirjo Vartiainen's Little joy -exhibition are made with oil paints on plexiglass. The transparent base can be painted on both sides, which brings depth to the painting in addition to surprise.

Pirjo Vartiainen's spent her childhood in the countryside, which is why things related to nature are important to me in her paintings. She also paint abstract art. Along with nature, colors inspire her art.
