MOMENT

What is the moment and time? Time is an abstract concept that describes the sequence and flow of events. It is a constant stream that moves forward into the future. Time is a subjective and personal concept that each of us experiences in our own way. There are moments you won't miss. Fortunately, there are moments that you want to stop, preserve or record.

"While painting the works of the "Moment" exhibition, I stopped again to think about the genuine moments that I depict in my work. A moment - living in the moment. It is presence, understanding to stop sometimes, enjoy - rejoice in what is happening right now. And even though those precious moments are authentic, they will soon be in the past, through paintings I can return to past moments."

In the works of the "Moment" exhibition, the mood of the moment can be found through the colors and brush marks – twilight, light or brightness. In the painting "Autumn in the fell" it is a fleeting moment of the color saturation of the fell landscape in autumn. The air is cool and fresh, the colors warmly embracing. The harmonious atmosphere of opposites only appears for a moment, until time moves on and nature prepares for another moment.

In the "Golden Clouds" painting, the viewer can move to the smell of the soil and grass of a rural landscape, where the golden clouds lead to feelings of happiness. Happiness is a personal feeling and state. Everything is fine in that very moment. Something precedes the moment now, something new comes right after the moment.

The subjects of the exhibition works are stories from one's own experiences, be it "Wrinkled Cloth" or "Golden Clouds", which are associated with meaningful moments and experiential landscapes. The mark of my brush is important to me, it must be honest, recognizable and my own.

When capturing a moment, colors are an interpreter of personal experiences and thoughts. Always my reliable partner when I'm working, when I'm looking for emotion, courage and strength in my interpretation.

Moments have their colors, shapes and stories. A moment is a meaning-creating element that gives art content and meaning.
