SOKOS JOENSUU WINDOW GALLERY: JULY ARTIST KAISA JUSSILA

Kaisa Jussila’s installation artwork "Sea of Dreams" be on display in July at the Joensuu Artists' Association’s Sokos Joensuu Window Gallery. It consists of fairy-tale ceramic figures as well as watercolor, gouache and ink paintings, combined with e.g. graphics and drawing. The work depicts the mystical world of the subconscious mind, dreams and fairy tales, an another level above of our everyday reality.

Kaisa Jussila (b. 1979) is a visual artist, graphic artist and illustrator living in Tohmajärvi. Her
techniques are e.g. ceramics and graphic arts, and additionally paper sculptures and
installations. In her works, she tells stories and combines two- and three-dimensional expression
into a magical and multidimensional world.
