Neither yours nor mine

"My exhibition consists of drawings made in 2021-2022, traditionally executed with a pencil. My small and seemingly modest works are images of humanity and interfaces, as well as the subtle twilight hovering between them. The contrast of black and white has always fascinated me and that's why I prefer to draw; through the line I feel that I can better connect with making myself. Whatever the technique, the hardest thing is still to stay simple."

Heta Pöyry graduated with a Master of Arts in 2013 and currently moves between Finland and France. He has held previous solo exhibitions, e.g. in Mikkeli, Pori and Turku. He has also participated in joint exhibitions all over Finland.
