The Musta lista collective is from Saimaa University of Applied Sciences (until 2019) and
graduates from the current LAB University of Applied Sciences (starting in 2020).
a group formed by visual artists. All members of our group have studied
at least one year at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in Imatra.
Päin punaista art exhibition is a continuation of the Musta lista collective's color-themed works
for a series of exhibitions. In the exhibition, the artists of our collective focus on red
to the color, its properties, history, the images and emotions it evokes.
On display are works of various techniques, as well as versatile, both three- and two-dimensional
works.

There is a lot of red. Love and passion as well as politics and
religion too. It is an attention-grabbing color, the color of warnings and sanctions, but
also the color of violence and blood. Many shades of red also appear in bloom
in nature and as a decoration of many animals proud of their colors. Very much
more could be said about the color red.
