ART CENTER AHJO, HEHKU-, KYTÖ- AND LIEKKI-ROOMS; AT THE END OF THE DAY
JOHANNA SINKKONEN - At The End Of The Day 9.7.-27.7.2025
At The End Of The Day exhibition explores boundaries as both concrete and abstract concepts, examining identity, community, and inequality. The exhibition features media artworks, installations, and wall reliefs. The works delve into themes of grief, shame, loneliness, and rootlessness. Through these, Sinkkonen investigates the complex relationship between memory and loss: how emotions and experiences reflect onto others and how the revelation of hidden truths can reshape our understanding of the past and the future. As the exhibition's title suggests—do the ends ultimately justify the means?
