Additionally, there is a blind cafe, a concert and a theater performance in Ahjo on all the Parafest event days 16.-18.8.2022.

At the festival, the para-artists present a versatile and high-level coverage of theatre, music, dance, films and literature. Pekka Hyysalo's Fight back seminar conveys hope, positive thinking, willpower and intransigence in all kinds of life situations. The guest author of the Sanavirta club is the visually impaired writer Ibrahim Milanovic.

In the festival area, in Joensuu Art Museum ONNI's yard and in the program tent, there are activities throughout the main festival days 16. - 18.8.2022. The new "Wild Club" will feature, among others, MCKOO who was also performing at Ilosaarirock 2022. The playful "electric rally" brings a breath of speed to those with electric wheelchairs. In the area there are also the Joensuu Dog Buddies (Joensuun Koira-Kaverit) to be petted and also other activities and sources of additional Parafest related information.

The Joensuu PARAFEST is Finland's most significant para-art festival and it is now being organized for the tenth time. Parafest offers para-artists the opportunity to present their art. The event is both needed and longed-for throughout the country.
