Kauppila - Jauhiainen - Arola : s o f t s h i f t s

Dance artist Mathilda Kauppila, visual artist Heli Jauhiainen and musician-instrument maker Jaakko Arola will settle in Taidekeskus Ahjo's Sysi hall in March to work on their installation work.

The starting point of the work has been getting to know the formation of bodily harmony, how bodies adapt and react to each other in ways that are independent of consciousness and will. During the first two weeks, everyone can get to know the work process during open morning meetings and afternoon coffees. After the main entrance, the installation is open according to Taidekeskus Ahjo's exhibition hours, and there will be four performances.
