Paintings by visual artist Sinimaria Ikonen based on home videos shot in 1988-1992, 1997 and 2001.

"I first sought psychiatric treatment 15 years ago when I was 19. I found out that I was autistic at the age of 32. For the diagnosis process, I gathered information from various sources such as watching home videos with which I was stuck for two years after diagnosis. Home videos are from 1988-1992, 1997 and 2001.

Thanks to the public health services. This exhibition would not have been possible if I had not had to wait that long.”
